Why work with Monarch

We are small on purpose, and it shows in how we treat the people who do the work.

You reach the owner

No call center and no queue. The administrator answers the phone, and problems get solved the same day.

Real training

Scope of practice, so you know exactly what you may and may not do. Infection control and client rights. Retraining whenever you need it, without judgment.

No cost to be hired

We explain every screening step before you sign anything. You are never asked to pay to apply or to be hired, and you do not pay for the screening checks we run. If the state ever needs a fingerprint to confirm your identity, its vendor charges its own fee, and we explain that before you go.

Family caregivers welcome

Already caring for a relative? You may be able to be paid for it. Ask us about the family caregiver route.

Your language matters

We serve families across many communities, including Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese and more. Tell us what you speak. It is an advantage here.

Clear boundaries

What is in scope is written down before you start. You will never be pressured into tasks you are not allowed to do. If a family asks, the office handles it, not you.

What we look for

Experience helps. Character matters more.

  • At least 18 and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Able to pass screening: a criminal history check, the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Employee Misconduct Registry, and other required checks.
  • Reliable transportation and a phone you can use to clock in and out of shifts.
  • Patience and common sense, and genuine care for older adults and people with disabilities.
  • A driver's license and auto insurance, only if you will transport clients or run errands.
  • CNA, CPR, First Aid and CMA certifications are welcome but are not required for every role.

Competitive pay, paid every two weeks. We talk about pay when we speak.

How hiring works

Six steps. You can stop at any point, and we will tell you honestly where you stand.

  1. You apply below. About five minutes. No documents needed yet, and no account to create. When you finish, you will see a link to a short screening authorization. Please complete it right away.
  2. We call you. A real conversation about your experience, your availability and what you are looking for.
  3. Screening. You sign the screening authorization when you apply, and we run the checks only if we want to move forward. We check the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, the Employee Misconduct Registry and the other required registries and criminal history checks. We never ask for your Social Security number on our application or screening forms.
  4. Conditional offer. We send you our Employee Handbook and an online new hire packet, with short exams you may take with the handbook open.
  5. Orientation, partly by video. We go over the handbook and anything you missed on the exams, and that part can be a video call. Federal rules require us to see your original ID documents for Form I-9 in person, at a time and place that works for you. You choose which acceptable documents to show.
  6. Your first shift. We match you carefully, introduce you to the client, and stay reachable.
